This face mask is made from 100% polyester and includes two woven, elastic loops for a comfortable, one-size-fits-all fit.

Please note - this is NOT a surgical grade mask. It is not intended for any medical or commercial uses, whatsoever. It is a simple, cloth mask designed for everyday use to cover your mouth when out in public. The mask should not be used in any medical or surgical setting.

Carpe Diem - Series by Sandi Baker

I call the latest works 'Carpe Diem'. A play on the words, koi are indeed carp and I am seizing the day enraptured in painting something new.

I am using koi, a symbol for serenity in the paintings to bring that feeling of peace when viewing the work. In addition I am positioning the koi on various simplistic backgrounds that are to symbolize chaos. Stark colors create an erratic splash of energetic, abstract water for the fish to swim in. The water represents chaos, the koi represent serenity within the chaos. The works represent finding inner peace in chaotic world. My hope is that in viewing the paintings the subject is forced subliminally for a moment - to meditate. I want my art to help people, to relieve stress, and to teach without words. I am Influenced by minimalists and abstract artists Motherwell, Kline and Japanese ink painting 'Sumi-e,' plus I am enamored with the Japanese aesthetic. Simplicity in line and shape with e...

I am a multi-disciplined artist. I love to experiment with various mediums and substrates. I have developed multiple unique and original series by endlessly exploring possibilities. Once I create a technique and look that I think has merit I will develop it into a series of 5 - 30 paintings. I may be painting abstracts for some time and then switch to realism. I may use acrylics then switch to oils or mix media. What I learn from one discipline I apply to the others and in this way I feel that I grow the most as an artist. Though I am constantly evolving I can easily go back and add seamlessly to any series.
